"Life is wondrously and appallingly surprising. Anyone who doesn't know that is unarmed."
-Candice Bergen
"Stand in the face of beauty every day," a wise man once told me. Beauty, through these eyes, is the unveiling layers carefully uncovered between human beings. It is the staggering sensation experienced under a blanket of stars. It is the collision of pain and joy, interwoven into this incredible object of existence. The only way I have found to truly live, is to fully step in. Willing and uncertain, embracing the fullness of pain and the fullness of joy, realizing the mysteries unravel only to unfold into more mysteries. There is a connection between the yesterday, the here and what is to come, but it starts with being present, being open, and being willing to go, unhindered into the winding wilderness we call life.
